Welcome Lobby

The lobby of the Union County Museum holds the gift shop, research area, docent station and public restroom. Lobby exhibits include spooky medical tools from the Hot Lake Sanitorium, rare stringed musical instruments, vintage home electronics and the Soda Fountain.

Visitors can flip through a large portfolio of historical images of each Union County community. Can you spot any of your ancestors?

Follow the passageway to the Natural History room, with an exhibit on rivers that run through Northeast Oregon, mining, and the indigenous people who inhabit the area.

All museum exhibit areas and buildings branch out from the lobby.
